Volunteering Opportunites

Who Volunteers? Our volunteers are teachers, coaches (in any sport), runners, parents, community members, employees of sponsoring companies, and high school students earning community service hours. 5K Event Volunteers We host two 5k (3.1 miles) events at the conclusion of the 10-week Girls on the Run program. Each event takes over 200 volunteers to be a success. We depend on volunteers to serve as course marshals, help with set up and tear down, manage start and finish lines, and much, much more. We have a job for everyone who wants to help! If you are interested in volunteering at one or both of our 5k events please email lauren@girlsontherunvermont.org Please note that background checks are required for anyone over the age of 18 who wants to volunteer.
