Inspire Girls to be Joyful, Healthy, and Confident!
Thank you for your interest in Girls on the Run Vermont! We are accepting 12 new sites for the Spring 2012 season and we welcome new coach inquiries for established sites throughout the state.
Our programs meet twice a week during after-school hours for the 10-week season. No prior coaching or running experience is necessary to be a coach! Coaches come from a wide range of backgrounds - teachers and school staff, parents, and community members - all with the common desire to help the girls gain a stronger sense of identity and teamwork, greater self-acceptance, and a healthier body.
Please begin by reading our Coaching in Vermont document to learn more about the program guidelines and the Coach Team opportunities. If you are considering establishing a new site in your community, we encourage you to also look at our New Site Application to see what's involved.
Since the season is drawing near, please contact us ASAP if you are considering being involved this spring. The New Coach Training schedule is available by clicking on the "Coach Training and Meeting" link on the left or by clicking here.
Please contact the Program Manager for your county for more information. Thank you again and we look forward to hearing from you!
